How to grab attention, evoke emotion and sell with words
- Monday 30 April 2018, MinorOak, Sneinton Market, Nottingham
This is an open event that I conduct for a small group of people. It’s hands-on, so you get my personal attention.
Who is it for?
Everybody who wants to hone their skills. For example, if you write for websites. Moreover, what you learn covers most types of publication.
And it doesn’t matter whether you sell products and services, promote brands and companies, popularise ideas and policies or simply present yourself.
You don’t need experience. The workshop is suitable for beginners, but it’s also a refreshing update for advanced writers.
What do you learn?
You get an insight into what makes copywriting successful, and the tools to rouse your language, so that it connects with people.
- How to grab people’s attention.
- How to evoke the right emotion.
- How to sell with powerful words.
And I show you how to save time by using clever concepts and sturdy structures.
You come away inspired, with new ideas and a handy folder that you can use instantly in your work.
The event lasts from 9.30 to 16.30. During that time you do group work and spend one-to-one time with me.
In the morning you complete a series of practical, yet entertaining exercises. In the afternoon you use what you’ve learnt to compose a text of your choice.
You can write from scratch, redo an existing text or bring a draft you’re working on. You can set your own pace. I help you achieve your goal, giving you the benefits of more than 20 years of experience in copywriting.
Is this my first workshop?
No, I’ve conducted many – in-house for clients and externally for small groups of people with different business and public sector backgrounds.
Here you’ll find what participants say about my workshops.
What does it cost?

Yes, but you have to book your place in advance.
How do you book a place?
