How to grab attention, evoke emotion and sell with words
- Tuesday 6 March, London, Covent Garden
- Wednesday 7 March, Nottingham, MinorOak, Sneinton Market
- Tuesday 13 March, Edinburgh, Hill Street Design House
- Wednesday 14 March, Glasgow, 103 Trongate
These are one-day, open events that I conduct for small groups of people. They’re hands-on, so you get my personal attention.
Who is it for?
Everybody who wants to hone their skills. For example, if you write for websites. Moreover, what you learn covers most types of publication.
And it doesn’t matter whether you sell products and services, promote brands and companies, popularise ideas and policies or simply present yourself.
You don’t need experience. The workshop is suitable for beginners, but it’s also a refreshing update for advanced writers.
What do you learn?
You get an insight into what makes copywriting successful, and the tools to rouse your language, so that it connects with people.
- How to grab people’s attention.
- How to evoke the right emotion.
- How to sell with powerful words.
And I show you how to save time by using clever concepts and sturdy structures.
You come away inspired, with new ideas and a handy folder that you can use instantly in your work.
The event lasts from 9.30 to 16.30. During that time you do group work and spend one-to-one time with me.
In the morning you complete a series of practical, yet entertaining exercises. In the afternoon you use what you’ve learnt to compose a text of your choice.
You can write from scratch, redo an existing text or bring a draft you’re working on. You can set your own pace. I help you achieve your goal, giving you the benefits of more than 20 years of experience in copywriting.
Is this my first workshop?
No, I’ve conducted many – in-house for clients and externally for small groups of people with different business and public sector backgrounds.
Here you’ll find what participants say about my workshops.
What does it cost?
The cost is £200 plus VAT per person. That includes your place and all materials.
Can you take part?
Yes, but you have to book your place in advance.
How do you book a place?
Simply email email@example.com or phone and tell me for which event you want to book a place. Then we’ll get the ball rolling.
Should you book now?
You don’t have to, but the number of places is limited and my workshops usually sell out quickly. So, if you want to be sure of getting a place – the sooner the better.
Just call and tell me what you want to know.
